Michelle is a Registered Nurse- Dementia Consultant at Care Partnerships Australia in Western Australia. She worked within the aged and community care sector since 2003, and her achievements promoting culture change for people living with dementia were recognised as an award finalist in the Western Australian Nursing and Midwifery Awards (Aged Care).
Through working with Michelle over the past ten years I have observed Michelle’s commitment and passion to a person-centred approach for the health and well-being of people living with dementia, and achieving this in partnership with people living with dementia, families and aged care staff. Michelle’s expertise and ability to educate others about enhancing the dignity and quality of life of people living with dementia is unique.
